At the 24th E3 2018 which brings together hardware manufacturers, software developers from the video game industry. We were introduced to new and upcoming products. The event took place in Los Angeles, California from June 12-14, 2018.

But what really caught our eyes and probably fans of the Devil May Cry series was the announcement of the latest member to the series "Devil May Cry 5". The game was expected in 2017 as the director of the previous series confirmed the news of a new project on Twitter last year but failed to materialize. It was, however, announced at the Microsoft's E3 2018 and the action-adventure hack and slash video game will be released on 8 March 2019.

Let's discuss everything we know about the game so far.

Devil May Cry 5 will be released on March 8, 2019.

THE PLOT OF DEVIL MAY CRY 5

Capcom gave us the first official glimpse to the upcoming game at E3 2018 event. For a start, Nero and Dante are back and a mysterious third. We guess it could be Vergil as the character is named "V" in the trailer. These three are the playable characters.

The story takes place several years after the events of Devil May Cry 4 and is set after the events of Devil May Cry 2.

Set in the Red Grave City, Nero wields a badass sword and had set up his own demon hunting agency adorned with a "Devil May Cry" sign. Alongside Nero is Nico, the self-proclaimed weapons artist.

Dante, with his usual sword Rebellion, is also a playable character. He is armed with dual pistols Ebony and Ivory. He will be looking for revenge against the murder of his mother. There is also access to a shotgun called Coyote-A.

The mysterious third playable character is unknown. The only known thing about the character is that it is named "V". Its role in the plot and how he will be linked to Nero and Dante is unknown.

WHAT PLATFORM WILL DEVIL MAY CRY 5 OPERATE?

Capcom revealed that Devil May Cry 5 will be released on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.

CONCLUSION
For the rest of the gameplay, expect the Devil May Cry 5 to be the fastest and the most complex DMC series to date. It will feature amazing graphics, intense action and with the new RE Engine, you can experience stylish action in 60 frames per second. We have to wait till the spring of 2019 to really get a grasp of the eventful and mind-blowing Devil May Cry 5.
