Tomorrow I guess the most celebrated ofala carnival from the East of the Niger will grace this forum, But little do we know that before the festival comes a carnival.
The ofala youth carnival which was started not too long ago by national Onitsha ado students association comes a day before the ofala festival in which indegene's of onitcha Ado n' Idu mostly the youths come to celebrate their cultural heritage.

They wear different regalia's starting from the obi of onitsha to the otu odu society. The youths of onitsha stage a carnival in which they walk through the major roads in onitsha with gracefull regalia's to create awareness that the next day is the ofala of the obi of onitsha.
