According to Wikipedia, a flood is an overflow of water that submerges land this is usually dry. Otuoke is the home town of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and it is being submerged by flood. The flood is caused mostly by the heavy down pour and poor drainage system in the village. Residents are crying out because the flood is slowly destroying their houses and farm lands, there were also forceful harvesting of crops from their farms due to the flood. The occupants of the village are seriously affected by this flood and they are yet to receive any control measure for flooding by the government in the village.
