Ebutte Mette is not that great, allot of factories, lots of people, however close to the Island. Probably a better bet Ikeja or maybe Abule Egba business to residential mix.

Thanks yinkaboy, are u saying the area is rowdy and more of a business district than residential? Any idea what traffic is like around ebutte meta? Area there some good areas?

I also heard of ikeja but not sure if traffic, distance to outlets n most especially crime

The first respondant did not know Ebute metta inside out.It's the old Lagos- 85% residential -divided into two- west and east.The west side is the Apapa Rd axis that link Western Avenue, while the Eastern part is the Oyingbo axis that leads to Yaba.Both sides are populated by low and medium lncome earners. The western part of Ebute is safer than the Eastern part- because of the influx of notorious gangs from Lagos Island to the Ebute metta east.
But if you desire peace, and easy access to lagos metropolis- ALAGOMEJI area of the mainland is the best. Good road networks, not noisy,Electricity is regular, & bonded by popular markets-oyingbo/sabo- including eatries.
Decent 2/3 -B/R flats at Alagomeji ranges from N500/N800 respectively.

Is Alagomeji inside Ebutte meta or is it on the western part of Ebutte meta?

ebute-metta west is the best place,good schools and neigbourhood,security and peace of mind,was raised there,didnt know how crowdy lagos was till i get to places like isolo.try get a place in this cool estate of abule nla street or cooler areas like shakleford,shofuntere or odaliki

There is a Cinema around there somewhere called Alagomeji>Sabo bus stop, not far from Sweet Sensations also
