Can hotel business be profitable around there?

I was advise by my cousin that the area is too rowdy and people might not patronise
such guest/hotel there.

I really prefer those area because prices of properties there matched my budget and i do prefer the area.

If they Put a Protea in Ebutte Metta, will it sell?
Of course, it will.
Its about Planning/Innovativeness/ Competence.
I've been involved in a Hotel in Apapa-Very close to the red light district- Selling Wonderfully. Room Rates ranging from 14-25k.
Just renovated another in Ikeja-Ladipo Oluwole-Full industrial District- but its looking Promising.
I'll tell U for Free, Ebutte Meta has something that surulere does not have.
Locate it. Exploit it.

I used Protea as an Example of A Hotel chain that does their Homework.
Since I'm not a representative for them, I cant offer U a Protea Franchise!
But If U say U have space for 10rooms, it does seem a bit small for anything other than a Bed & Breakfast and we dont have those in Nigeria.
I f U're set on it being a Hotel, get an architect to look at the space for U.
If U can expand Ur 10 rooms to 14, U're in Business. Best of Luck sir.
