Foliar inorganic fertilizers burns plants too. I have the Haifa bonus npk 20:20:20 too and most times if applied in hot weathers, burns my vegetables.

What's the way out then, Boss? Should we rather leave them without applying fertilizers after the first harvest?

not true just pick the big ones and the smaller ones while come up,we start staking anytime before it start crawling on ground.

we have tried tying on stem didn't like it,the strings choked the stem of some crops due to constriction,using the stick give individual adjustment in farm so no rope will be saggy or wobbly,it has to be tense to carry the load that will come,in staking 999 u do not cut corners or less the whole setup will crash down when it have load.we also use the stick method in the sack farm.

yes they produce but the number of male flowers is so low that pollination can be a problem,but you can solve this by planting 100 marketer variety to every 1000 murano so the bees will have more male flowers for pollination.

if you getting a land for vegetable farming make sure it is close to a water source that will not dry

Please, I've been reading about people complaining of pollination for their cucumber plants. Is there a way to avoid all these pollination related issues? Say for someone that wants to plant in 200 bags

there is a reason why cucumbers are more costly during dry season,bees tend to stay more in their hive at harmattan and dry season,reduce and use insecticide that have low toxicity on bees like imiforce or actara and spray late evenings,you can also boil sugar and spray on leaves to attract more bees,but bees are not the only pollinating agent they are many including butterfly,hornets,even hummingbirds.

we are slowly but surely getting closer to the finish line,our customer from nnewi made me a proposal to pay #400,000 naira cash on Friday for 100 bags that is yet to be harvested,hmmm!I am tempted on a project that we have spent less than 40,000 naira ,to collect the bulk cash upfront,but if I take it then we have failed on our target of #500,000 naira and the price could rise so much we will regret collecting the money,so no deal we will see the project to its final end.

I have not seen or heard that rice bag is used for cucumber banging,the standard Hausa mesurment is brown vital feed bag covered with cut half bag of top feed bag.

that is an interesting question, I think if on the same area of land cucumber will make more cash on a short time,hybrid pepper takes from 90-100 days to harvest depending on weather, but if it starts u harvest every 4-5 days for 3-5 months,so pepper will give cash on a bigger land and it will be sure and steady,unlike cukes that can die anyhow,with good management pepper lasts the dry season and start flowering the next year if rain falls,if given a choice between the 2 I will take pepper,we planted 750 stands of avenit f1 hot pepper last year l saw the yield and potential,but due to poor management and inexperience we did not use the suitable fungicides for pepper and we lost the field to bacterial leaf spot,we will do it next year on 1 acre that will contain 3000 -4000 plants.
