Downloading various task killing apps on your Android phone in other for you to restrict certain applications from running on the phone background can be tempting or thinking that it will increase your battery usage is a joke, because it will drain your battery faster than ever.

Using task killer apps slows down your phone system by throwing out cached data and forcing Android to load apps from system storage each time you reopen the closed application.

If you Don’t believe me?

Go to your phone developer options, Enable the Don’t keep activities option on the Developer options screen and Android will force-close every app you use as soon as you exit it. Enable this app and use your phone normally for a few minutes — you’ll see just how harmful throwing out all that cached data is and how much it will slow down your phone and drain your battery out.

Using this option
can make your Android phone misbehave like writing system fail please restart and various apps might stop working to their maximum capacity due to the limits impose on them. unless you want to see how bad it is! Try it, there’s a reason Google has hidden these options away from average users who might accidentally change them.
I know most people use it because they feels it will make their phone battery not to drain fast or to free up Ram when engaged in a heavy duty application .

Why not to download any task killer app because after downloading the app, it will occupy space and consume your available Ram to speed up your phone and

don't forget to check your battery history you would discover the so called app topping the list of apps that are consuming lot of power from the battery.

Task killers notice that Android is using a lot of RAM – in fact, Android stores a lot of apps in its memory, filling up the RAM! However, that isn’t a bad thing. Apps stored in your RAM can be quickly switched to without Android having to load them from its slower storage.empty RAM is useless. Full RAM is RAM that is being put to good use for caching apps. If Android needs more memory, it will force-stop apps that you haven’t used in a while – this all happens automatically, without installing any task killers.
