"Hyperrealism" as some self taught artist sees it ,is the apex and crux of their pen, pencil or whatever medium being used. Tho craved by most, achieved by few.Achieving hyperrealism seem to be a very difficult and arduous task encountered by most artists who pursue one. Yeah, "attitude ". Hyperrealism is all about the mindset, having the right mindset and the skill will greatly propel one into achieving one.
I started hyperrealism about last year, tho I have been drawing for about 4yrs before then, I needed to create the right mindset for learning hyperrealism, tho I learnt just the rudiments due to the fact that I draw less often again after the first 3months of my journey into hyperrealism. ACHIEVING AN HYPERREALISTIC SKIN

Starting with first things first, creating any sort of effect on the skin be it smooth or a rough and textured effect needs a layed down shade foundation. This is paramount most especially for pen artist and also, I will be talking mostly for pen art since that's my specialty, but along the line, pencil hyperrealism will be chipped in later on

Try solidifying this basic shade by using a broken hatch or form of scribbles. This is essential to producing a virtual effect of the skin pore. This will then be worked upon in the later stages

Try out further details on the Skin from lines on the skin to sweat pores.
Woek very patiently and take ur time, as this is the limiting factor to what u can achieve in hyperrealism

Detail it further

Finish it up by adding more details

Mind you, this was done under 30mins.as this is tp show us the rudiments of hyperrealism
To achieving more detailing, one has to learn patience and persistency.
