Few months ago, governor Ben Ayade of Cross River directed the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to commence immediate recruitment of 2,000 primary school teachers and 500 security men across the State. 

This was in a bid to address the dearth of teachers at the basic level.

There are basic things you never forget in life, except you are a dunce! Just like forgeting the spelling of your name because “it's been long you wrote it last”

These are fundamentals. No excuse for a prospective teacher not to know them!

Another excuse for failure. What was your language of learning at school? English.
What language will the teacher use to teach the kids? English

So if you do not know this language past the basic level, how are you suppose to study teaching materials? How are you supposed to update your knowledge?

“Oyibo people” you refer to, don't you know that not all “oyibos” are learned? Being oyibo does not make you educated! Abeg shift!
