It was all songs of praises to God by the Super Eagles of Nigeria as a 1-1 draw against South Africa secured their qualification for the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon.

Nigeria returns to the competition for the first time since 2013 after missing out on the past two editions.

Though Nigeria started the qualifier on the back-foot as they were beaten 2-0 by South Africa in Uyo but they managed to turn the group on its head, becoming the first team to qualify from the group.

Nigeria fought off constant pressure from the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to claim the draw that sent them to next year's competition.

It was therefore no surprise to see the Nigerian players celebrating after the match, singing various songs of praises and worship.
