These four destinations are not only visa free but also has visiting costs are quite considerate to many pockets. Tanzania would have been on this list, but the country recently took Nigeria off their visa-on-arrival list.

1. Republic of Benin
In Benin Republic, after almost every 2km is a beach, and not just beach — breathtaking seascapes, coconuts, hammocks, the whole package. The best part of this is the country is just next door to Nigeria. You do not need a visa if you have your ECOWAS passport, just walk in, get it stamped and you're in. From Grand-Popo to Fidjrosse to Cotonou to Ouidah, there are many exotic destinations that can get you the complete vacation package — exciting activities, very affordable but comfortable hotels on the beach, etc.

2. Ghana
Ghana is another next door neighbour to Nigeria. The journey can also be made by road so do not fret about flight fares.
