1. You see Token Stand and you still believe this would free eh? Waiting to see when that alaye would take over the place grin

2. Water the best option after pooing jooooore ....who will foot the cost of tissue and air freshener naaa?

AutoReportNG:
For those who are in Lagos, especially those that ply the normal 3rd Mainland Bridge especially the Iyana Oworo BRT Park and Berger, you must have noticed a public toilet that stands out from the park. Well, according to our investigations, we later got to know that the toilet was made possible courtesy of The Lagos State Government and JCDecaux Africa.

JCDecaux Africa is the company in charge of LATIS, the new digital signboard you see around Lagos and its environs. According to our findings, JCDecaux toilets have been in France for quite a while before the introduction in Lagos, Nigeria.

AutoReportNG was in Iyana Oworo and we decided to use the restroom and the mobile toilet comes to mind and we decided to satisfy our curiosity.

These are our observations when we got there...

1. The environment is well maintained, neat and the security in charge is friendly and very jovial, a very rare trait you use in securities these days.

2. The toilet is free for all to use and no money was charged.

3. The surroundings are made in such a way that you can easily come in and out but we wish the place can be expanded a bit to accommodate more people.

4. Even though there are two toilets stationed at Iyana Oworo, we noticed that only one was open for use so there is a queue, no reason was given for this.

5. Inside the toilet, the toilet is well lighted, there is enough space to pee, poo and where to hang your bag for those that are ladies.

6. The wash-basin is automatic but this calls for a serious concern for those that are not used to sensor washing as the water-basin only operates when your hands move closer to the tap.

7. We noticed that the toilet is automatic: What this means is that after you have finished using the toilet, the toilet automatically flushes itself and wash the floor and disinfect the place all within the space of 3-5mins.

8. As much as we commend the management for a job well done but we want to recommend that the place should have tissue and air freshener as we noticed that both were missing were Iyana Oworo station. Not all feel comfortable using water immediately after using the toilet and that's why we will recommend tissue.

We seek the permission of the security man and we are able to take some pictures, you be the judge.

Hope our maintenance culture would help us to keep this one going. on the second thought, this is misplaced priority.

What dirty most toilets are Muslim people they pour water all over the rest room while washing their abuna and their ponyor ,this what somlian people in my working place here in Vienna were doing before our boss warned them ,they pour water every where with some of their shiits ,if you allow them they will even use bucket inside air plane

The thing is these kinds of innovations aren't meant for Nigeria. The environment alone isn't well suited for these things to survive the test of time. grin
