NOT USING AFTER SHAVE

After shave exists for a reason and is in no way a luxury. After shave can be in form of oil or lotion but is very essential in preventing razor bumps and irritation. It is advisable for men to invest in an after shave kit and use them appropriately.

DO NOT SHAVE TOO OFTEN

Some men are guilty of shaving so often that they injure their skin. It is better to shave once in a while, especially when the hair on the face is fully grown.

USE CLEAN CLOTH TO WIPE THAT AREA

Hygiene is paramount when it comes to shaving your beards as when done and washed, clean cloth must be used to wipe dry. If a dirty cloth is used, dirt is just being transferred to the skin and can hide under the skin. Prevention is definitely better than cure.

I avoid razor like bad energy. If I use razor on any part of my body, I’ll sure be covered with bumps on that part

Good thread but I don't agree with your second to last point.

When you shave regularly especially for someone with a hard skin, it makes the skin get used to the shaving.

But shaving ones in a while when the hair has grown well, will keep bringing the bumps.

Chai! You case is like that of those you guys call "Evenning Newspaper"

For some of us who aren't blessed with lotsa hairs, I shave once in a week or two.

To avoid bumps, I use a new razor with each shave and.....wait for this..... I moisten the area to be shaved with soap and water. It makes the shaving very easy and smooth.

The only problem that arises is when I have to shave my down under, , not the most comfortable of shaves. Too sensual

Good info...for me, I use razor to shave, only use clipper to trim my beards when necessary

However, people need to know what works for their skin.

I have a friend who does dry shave and never has bumps but if I dare try it, I will be covered with bumps.

My father uses shaving sticks too without problems but it is not the same for me.

However, electric shavers work perfectly for me.
