Tale of the unsung heroes
The heroes of valour
The pacesetters of the old

Tell us how the naira grows lesser by the day
A naira who was a king, the king to all
The naira of an old dream
A government that gives a thousand for a million

Should I continue to wait for what you promised?
Should the labour of the heroes past go in vain?
Ponder on this I shall
Till I see unity and peace you preach
