I would like to know if studying Law is still lucrative in Nigeria.

You just need to find a niche or a specialty. there are different types of specialization in legal practice, see list below:

Personal Injury Lawyer.
Estate Planning Lawyer.
Bankruptcy Lawyer.
Intellectual Property Lawyer.
Employment Lawyer.
Corporate Lawyer.
Immigration Lawyer.
Criminal Lawyer.

you are right but most of them who practice ends up being a charge and bail lawyer, property and helping with affidavit.
