Baba.....both cars no be mate at all....some even prefer the IS350 to the ES350 because of the paddle shifters.

Demand. And Lexus reliability ensures the car holds value well. That said, personally I see no reason to shell out over 3m for an IS250. It's a slow car, the ride quality isn't the best, and the rear legroom is nonexistent. Plus there are carbon buildup issues.

But it's a Lexus, and the fit and finish is excellent. The sound system is great, and it's very reliable. It's a Lexus.

I believe paddle shifters were only standard on the IS350, which is an entirely different beast from the IS250. A 2006 IS350 would embarrass a pre-2011 C350 on the highway, and is just a great, great car.

Also, people buying the IS350 aren't looking at an ES350 at all. They're probably looking at a C350, Infiniti G35, or Acura TL. For those that know anything about cars, anyways. The ES and IS are verry different cars and do entirely different things.
