Breaking! FG Declares No-Work-No-Pay Rule On ASUU ASUU STRIKE UPDATE (NEW) #campuscatchofficial #SHARE Matters Get worse as the Federal Government has just directed Vice Chancellors of the striking public universities and inter-varsity centers, to enforce no-work-no-pay rule on striking lecturers. This directive was said to have been communicated to the universities in a memo sent by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) through the University Vice Chancellors. The Memo which was signed this evening by Director, Research, Information and Technology, NUC, Dr S.B Ramon-Yusuf, stated that payment of salaries from any other sources will be viewed as violation of extant rules and Government directive. It's obvious that both FG and ASUU are not ready to agree anytime soon. Campus Catch will update us if there's any latest development.
