My fellow members of this great forum,i want to get a car (german machine), i dont know which to get a BMW 325i or Mercedes Benz C320 both 6 cylinders (2002), pls honourable members of this great forum i need your candid advice based on your experience.

Please test drive your options and choose based on your feelings and preferences. For me, it would be a benza anyday.

atouba i have used both. and if you understand English, you will know what more problematic means. I used a 2001 3series then a 2004 c240 and i tell you the benz is far more problematic, the BMW has cheap solutions to its problems , not the Benz, do you know wot the Eis in Benz is? Do you know if the ignition dosent accept the key you are stuck wherever it happens. You cant even remove the gear from park to push it and you may be blocking ten cars. Now the key having problems is a common occurrence in Benz. The only problem the BMW ever had was overheating and this was quickly solved with an extra fan. Stop bringing your speculative comments when someone is speaking from experience.

If you like the benz, Have the money to maintian it, Simple

I made my comment based on experience,however, Iam not ready to descend so low as you by bringing personal insults to this topic. Its never my way. I dont get into uncessary vituperations over the internet with faceless interfaces.

I currently run a M Benz, 200 kompressor after selling my BMW 318(2002) and I will tell you to stick wiith the Benza. I hardly did a weekend without spending the whole saturday,sometimes the sunday too in the Mechanic workshop when i ran the Bimmer. To worsen it,there are very few mecos in Nigeria that understand the BMW complex injection system. The moment you have a bad fuel problem once, forget it sir,the bimmer is gone.

Apart from the fact that the c320 is much more electrical ,hence a lot of electrical problems, the bmw 325i comes with a 6cylinder engine with 6plugs while the c320 has a v6 engine with 12plugs,  . now tell me that is not a platform for potential problems,  Esp in this country we live in,  12  plugs,  Think of the servicing alone even if there are no problems.

Like i said if you can afford the maintenance, then buy it

Which village are you from?? I don't know of c320, But E350 is V6+12 plugs...
