Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has revealed two clubs that will play in the Champions League final this season.

According to Ferdinand, Premier League giants, Manchester City and Liverpool are the two clubs that will play in the Europe topflight league final this term.

The ex-England defender stated this ahead of Monday’s Champions League round of 16 draws.

Speaking to reporters in Kenya, Express UK quoted Ferdinand as saying: “In the league, I think City are looking strong and better than any other team at the moment.

“I expect them to receive a strong challenge [from Liverpool] but they should still be in a position to weather that.

“I will not be surprised if City meet Liverpool in the final of the Champions League this season.

“That is how strong these two teams are this season.”
