CHALLENGING VACANT POSITIONS IN MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT

We are a leading and exceptional company in the media and entertainment industry. Due to large scale expansion of our operations, we now require multi-talented individuals for employment in our RADIO & TV STATIONS in the following locations :Benin City, Akwa, Jos, Yenogoa

                     The Positions

Radio Stations – Benin , Akwa, Jos, Yenogoa

1. Business Manager Ref. R/BM/01
Key responsibilities: The successful candidate would lead the marketing team and has overall responsibility for the management of the station. There is strong emphasis for revenue generation and positioning of the station as a strong player in the media and entertainment sec tor.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
First degree from a reputable university in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline. Possession of MBA is an added advantage.

At least 5years cognate experience in the media and entertainment sector. Proactive, strong leadership and communication skills, Passionate and resourceful. Computer literacy is highly important.

2. Head, Technical Ref R/HT/02
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the technical team and shall be responsible for all technical issues relating to transmission, electrical, equipment maintenance including electricity/ generator
Qualification, Experience & Skills

3. HR/Admin Officer Ref R/HOA/03
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for effective implementation of HR policies and programmes, communication, handling of HR issues and office administration
Qualification, Experience & Skills
A minimum of first degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline

At least, 5years experience in similar position

4. Financial Accountant Ref R/FA/04
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting functions and preparation of monthly financial reports

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
A minimum of first degree in Accounts, Finance or related discipline

At least 5years experience in similar position

5. Head of Production Ref R/HPD/05
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate would oversee the entire production unit and would be directly responsible for scripting, production of programmes, promo, commercials and vetting of materials
Qualification, Experience & Skills  Bsc or HND in social science, arts or related discipline
Experience  Above  4years


6. Head of Programmes Ref R/HPR/06
Key Responsibilities   
The successful candidate would be responsible for the programmes unit, bring creativity to bear on the  job via script, programmes,  promos and also, ensure compliance with operational guidelines as well as the NBC regulatory standards
Qualification – Bsc or HND in mass communications, social science arts or related discipline
Experience Above  4years

7. Head of News  Ref R/HN/07
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate would supervise the activities of the News Unit as well as assign beats to news correspondents, script vetting and editing before broadcast.
   
Qualification – BSc or HND in English Language, Mass Communication or any social science or arts courses
Experience  Above  4years

8. Head of Traffic Ref R/HT/08
Key Responsibilities 
The preferred candidate would be accountable for the Traffic Unit and ensure strict compliance with MPO
   
Qualification – BSc or HND in Marketing,Business Administration or related discipline
Experience  Above  3years

9. Head of Sports Ref /RHS/09
Key Responsibilities
The preferred candidate would oversee the sports Unit and ensure quality sports programming
Qualification – BSc or HND in social science or arts related subjects
Experience   Above 3years

10.On Air Personality          Ref R/OAP/10
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be responsible for presentation of programmes, reading of news, running of continuity studio, and would be involved in production activities.
Qualification – BSc or HND in social science or arts related course subjects
Experience   Above 4years

11. Marketing Executives Ref R/ME/11
Key Responsibilities 

Successful candidates shall report directly to the Marketing Manager and would be involved in marketing  of the company’s products and services
Qualification – BSc or HND in Business Administration, Social Sciences or Art subjects
Experience  Above 3years

12. Engineers/Technicia ns       Ref R/ET/12
Key Responsibilities 
The successful candidates would assist the Head of Technical on all issues relating to transmission, electrical/electric ity, equipment maintenance and generator

Qualification – BSc or HND in electrical/electron ics engineering or related discipline
Experience Above   3years

13. Editors/Presenters
Ref R/EDP/13
Key Responsibilities 
The successful candidates have responsibility for news collation, editing and presentation.
Qualification – BSc or HND in mass communication, social sciences or art subjects
Experience . Above 3years

14. Liberian Ref R/LB/14
Key Responsibilities
The preferred candidate would be responsible for managing the library, safe keeping of musical collections, documentaries and other recorded messages.
Qualification – BSc or HND in library science, mass communication or related discipline.
Experience .  Above 3years


15. Credit Control Officer Ref R/CO/14
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate has responsibility for credit policy initiation and liaise with clients for accounts reconciliation and cash collection.
Qualification – BSc or HND in Business Administration, or Accountancy
Experience   Above 3years

16. News Correspondents Ref R/NC/15
Key Responsibilities
The preferred candidate would cover news/special reports within area of assignment and report to Head of News
Qualification – BSc. or HND in Mass Communication, English Language or related discipline
Experience  Above  2years

17. DJ/Studio Assistants Ref R/DJ/16
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate would work directly with OAP’s and presenters and would also, anchor musical programmes
Qualification –OND in Mass Communication, NCE or related discipline
Experience   Above 2years

18. Sports Reporter/Analyst Ref R/SA/17
Key Responsibilities
The preferred candidate would cover and report sport events/anchor sport programmes and join presenters as sports analyst
Qualification – BSc or HND or OND in mass communication, arts or related discipline
Experience  Above 2years

19. Audit Officer Ref R/AO/18
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibility is to carry out investigations, check and ensure compliance with approved management accounting policy and procedure.
Qualification – BSc,or  HND in Accountancy
Experience   Above 2years

20. Asst. Systems Administrator Ref AS/19
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be responsible for the IT unit and  ensures that all the computers functions properly.
Qualification – BSc or HND electrical/Electron ic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
Experience   Above 2years

The successful candidate would be attached to pool vehicle and has full responsibility for maintenance and functioning at all time
Qualification – NECO , OR GCE and  School Certificate Holder and ability to read and write very well.
Experience   3years

Remuneration: The remuneration for above position is highly competitive and negotiable depending on qualification and experience.

well I wouldn't consider it to be a non-sense as it is, he is just making advert for that domain without site. anyway, it's what we get for looking for job online. since the time people started talking about creativity, many nonsense (scam) are going on in place of the real thing. Just keep praying for our mother land. God Bless us all and give us that dream job. You I was going through paper, I saw this advertiment, so I want to check it out online guess what? well it happens to be that the number quoted (agent number) was not on that particular site list of accreditated membership. Shine your eye ooooooo.
