I always thought having original content, adding a privacy policy, about us, and a contact page were things google required. Then a lot of my posts are 600 - 1, 000 words long.

Yes, I do. Although my 'About Us' page is still empty. Will fill it up with content today.

@godmother, I think expiredNigerian is on point. Those pages are important. Also try and get a logo and favicon.

But I think you are already on another ad network, that might count against you as well.

Use the various Google webmaster tools and also test for page speed, verify your site, etc.
