My Country's Rainbow

My heart is soaked
With tears
For I've cried deep within


My tears are now flooded
For they now dripped
Torrent on my bony laps


My eyes are now RED
For I've wept endlessly
For my nation


If my nation bless with
Bountiful harvest
Is left with rotten ORANGEs
Where will it manna fall from?


The half of my beloved
Nation's YELLOW sun
No longer emanate rays


The land that was once Green
Is now withered.


And the BLUE sky
Already turned an eclipse


The shuddered infant
With Afro-Skeletal portrait
Now look as pale as INDIGO


The sleepers at five and twenty
Can make nothing
Out of VIOLET
For they're sycophants and political loggerheads
