Following the old-centuries dictum that interactive gathering with great minds is a prelude to building a brighter future, the people of Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, under the umbrella of Ukpor Political Forum, are set to hold a one-day interactive session with political aspirants ahead of the 2019 election.
This was contained in a statement released to newsmen by the President of the forum, Mr. Chris Nwachukwu (Oburuotie), signed by the Secretary General of the forum, Hon. Franklin Anapusim (Frankstateman).
According to him, the event which will take place at Ukpor Town Hall, Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area is slated to hold on 8th January 2019, starting by 11.am prompt, and will feature presentation of manifestos by aspirants, unveiling of aspirants' packages for ndi Ukpor, interactions with the aspirants on the political future of ndi Ukpor, among other agenda.
He registered the need for Nigerians in general and ndi Ukpor in particular to make the righteous choice in this forthcoming general election, which he said prompted the laudable event, as according to him, such interactive session with the political aspirants would open the eyes of the citizenry to the worth of each aspirants and hence, enhance a rightful choice, come 2019.
Describing 2019 as a significant year in Nigeria, Nwachukwu noted that the event will be chaired by Hon. Barr. Ikenna Mbazuluike Amaechi and will have in attendance, aspirants from different political parties who are vying for various positions that reflect Ukpor in diverse echelons, both at the State and Federal levels.
