Following a viral update about the Federal Government being set to release sum of N15.89B into the coffers of Universities before today, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) revealed the denial via a tweet from her official account this afternoon. The latter update which revealed that the federal Government, in a bid, to yield to ASUU’s demands in order to end the (7) weeks strike, has decided to release the sum of N15.89B into the coffers of Universities before today (Wednesday, January 2) ends. The decision by FG to release this money was made on Monday Evening (December 31st).
