A Twitter user Akintonmide feels that praying in Nigerian offices should be stopped as they are unprofessional and disrupts businesses.

But Muslim close their shops every friday to go pray. How different is this from morning prayers ?

What are your thoughts any arguments before or against ?

It's lyk this one goofed when asked to lead the day's prayer...
But honestly am not a fan of it as I believe every staff should pray on their desk if they want but when you dare speak against it, u're seen as the devil himself.

It's funny that with all the demon chasing we Nigerians do, the country is still not progressing.

Maybe perhaps Nigerians are their own demons and all the devil has to do is move out of the way... Which prayer does.

True talk. I boarded a civil service bus in Oyo state one morning only to find that the driver was the one using the public address system to pray before & after another civil servant preached (what if something had happened?)I am a Christian & I believe prayer should be personal or immediate family. I even believe praying in public or private school (except religious schools) should not be mandatory. what we need are values, morals, action, functional system and self discipline at work places not prayers offered to God in eye service, laziness and hypocritical settings.
