This forum has been my google search engine for issues or discourse in Nigeria. From politics, sports, vacancies or business ideas.... Nairaland.com is one of my favourites.

My suggestions include.

1. A Dislike button should be added. This will make people to know the quality of their opinion in the public and hence become more civil

2. Each member's comment should attract a point which will rate the member as Educated, Professional, Amateur, Expert etc. Of recent I saw someone who just registered and within two minutes he was already flooding all thread with BETTING FIXED ODDS.

3. Online beggars are increasing on Nairaland. The moderator should find a way to curb this. Certainly some requests for help are genuine but many have been taking advantage of the generosity of the members here.

Please add your own suggestions, I believe the moderators will find useful suggestions here to better this site in 2019

Seun the owner of nairaland is deliberately promoting religious crises on nairaland....why must l take an oath in order to comment on a particular religious thread....

1. Seun should fire all his mods and hire new ones.

2. If you report a user 3 times same day, the user should get automatic ban of atleast 2 days

1. A Tribalism Section should be opened

2. The Sexuality Section should allow nudity. Logically, it canot be Sex if it isn't nude.

3. The Crime Section should have a sub section for Armed Robbers, Kidnappers, Assasins etc

4. The Religion Section should be dissolved for being biased

OR

Since Sundays are set aside for Christians & Fridays for Islam related threads, separate days should also be set aside for Satanist, Traditionalist & Atheist threads too

5. Moderators' salaries should be increased from N20,000 to about N120,000 minimum. It is a full time job and it is very time consuming & strenuous. Those guys deserve better for the work they do!
