What's up gamers, I plan on getting xiaomi gaming laptop for school, work and some gaming. So far, the laptop seems and looks Great. One thing I like from the laptop is because of its matured look. It doesn't have that gaming looks and it doesn't have any logos, making it look very classy ; But the only downside am seeing is the battery like. From all the videos I have watched on yoytube(literally every video of Xiaomi gaming laptop on YouTube), they said the battery life is about 5 hours. I also heard that the i5 version somehow saves battery. But i won't want to go for anything less since the amount difference between the i5 and i7 is just less than $80.
I will be running Android Studio and Some Adobe products on the laptop.
So what do you guys recommend?

U can't get the parts in the market if it goes bad.

Very good laptop with good hardware.

But it is a Chinese device pre-installed in Chinese. U'd have to clean install everything on it in English. Plus it's sort of on the heavy side despite it's slender looks. And i think there was some issue about it thermal throttling when it gets hot.

Alternatively, u can go for other laptops in the Xiaomi's budget bracket like the Acer Predator Helios 300 - 2018 edition, Lenovo Y530/Y730(whichever one fits ur budget), Asus Tuf laptop, etc.
