For over two months, since the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have been on strike with no positive outlook. After several meeting, with no positive outcome between the two parties to settle their disputes over the strike action. The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu told Journalists during a press conference on Friday, said there is possibility the ASUU Strike may be called off by next week, Daily Trust reports. He said, ''Perhaps, by next week, I hope the ASUU strike will be over''. However, the striking lecturers stood their ground still their demands are meet by the government they will not suspend the strike.
