That East West road between Yenagoa and Port Harcourt is a danger zone.
Kidnappings of all passengers in buses are regular occurrences.
The kidnappers take their victims to their hideouts in the creeks where they are forced at gunpoint to bail themselves to freedom through their ATM cards or through bank transfers.
In the alternative the kidnappers will contact relations of their victims and tell them where to pay the ransom to bail their relatives.

This is no longer a news in Elele/Ndele axis again, a friend and his pregnant wife were kidnapped in that particular point in the first week of this month.

The guy was released after 3days after payment of ransom, wife held in captive for the husband to source for her ransom too. The lady in question just left FMC Yenagoa.

In the following week, two white guys were also kidnapped on the other Elele Omagwua road by the same group who told the white guys that they're the ones who kidnapped the previous victims. Even the police escort couldn't rescue the guys

I've been living in ph in over 22 years now.

These crimes happen MOSTLY outside ph but within rivers state like omoku, ndele etc.
