Yoruba urged to reject 2019 election, opt for referendum

Yoruba people across the world have been asked to reject the forthcoming elections and rather concentrate on the campaign for self-determination.

A Pan Yoruba group yesterday said only the sovereignty of the Yoruba people where they have final and irreversible right to determine their economic and political future will uplift the people from the lingering state of stupor. The group said the 2019 elections are being organized under a constitution not drafted by the people of Nigeria but rather imposed on them by the military which questions the legitimacy of the constitution itself.

“The Yoruba people have never been divided along camps that do not in any way represent their values and heritage. There are awkward options either of which meets the genuine aspirations of the over 100million Yoruba people across the world” the Yoruba Liberation Command, (YOLICOM) has said.

In a statement signed by the group’s spokesperson, Akinola George, YOLICOM said Nigeria as a country died in 1966.

YOLICOM stated “This election will not lead to any meaningful progress neither will it produce a legitimate government. We see a federation hijacked by a self serving cabal, using a fraudulent constitution to organize an illegal election. This process can only lead to the emergence of a colonizing government backed by an army of occupation.” The group said Nigeria has always been an enforced unity.

The group stated “The present country masquerading as Nigeria is the booty captured at gun point by the caliphate army in July, 1966. They suspended the four constitutions negotiated at independence, divided and balkanized Nigeria as they wished, revised the revenue allocation formula to favor the north.’

YOLICOM said Nigerian authorities controlled by a cabal allocated revenues accruing from all the nationalities as they pleased and even wrote a new constitution heavily skewed in their favour and called it the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The group said at the root of Nigeria’s conflict is the big lie that the people have a constitution out of their own freewill adding that “the rape, exploitation and debauchery has finally reached its last bus stop.”

YOLICOM noted that the Nigeria our founding fathers inherited from the British at independence was negotiated and agreed with the Lyttleton constitution of 1954 that finally entrenched the features of the federal system of government in Nigeria.

“A federation is a union of constitutions. Prior to independence, each of the regions (North, West and East) had been operating its own regional constitution. Each region was more or less a country, with its own flag, coat of arms and constitution. Each controlled and applied its own resources as it deemed fit.

“So, at Independence there were four constitutions. Three regional and one federal. By 1963 when Nigeria became a republic they became five, because the mid west region had been carved out of the west.

“What is a Constitution? It is a document which defines the ways and means by which a people have willing agreed to be governed, and to which they readily submit some of their liberties. That is why most constitutions usually starts with “We, the people...’’Any constitution that does not originate from the free will of a people is a fraud!

Akinola said by January 1966, when the military struck the first time, and suspended the five constitutions (which represented the freewill of the people to live and be governed as one within the geographic space called Nigeria), Nigeria died a horrible death!

“And by July 1966, when another faction of the army, representing the Fulani North and the Sokoto Caliphate, decapitated the first coupists, Nigeria was buried, hook, line and sinker!

According to the group “What we have been seeing masquerading as a country called Nigeria is a Zombie, a walking dead mummy, exhumed by the caliphate jihadists, who are masters of the game of subterfuge and guile, and dressed up in the robe of a federation, a free country.”

YOLICOM noted that Nigeria had been captured in “an armed robbery attack. It lost its life and its resources while its possessions and inheritances ere taken over and shared as war booty!”

So when the mock hand over of power was performed in 1979 to mark the commencement of the second republic, it was merely one arm of the caliphate handing over the baton to another.

The constitution that was enacted to complete the mockup was a document of 49 handpicked ‘wise men’ and it was, on submission, heavily edited by the army of the North to favour the region.
It was never a document of the people.
By 1999, when the process was repeated, the document that emerged as the constitution of the 4th Republic was far worse than the previous, it was written for Sanni Abacha, the maximum dictator of the time, by one man, Anwalu Yadudu. It was neither republican nor secular.
He said the 1999 Constitution meant that “the governments that we have had since 1966 have been impositions forced on us by a usurper group, and propped up by an army of occupation.”

It means that this ‘Nigeria’ does not need any restructuring, other than a return to its pre -1966 configuration, or a total dismemberment by any means necessary! it must be disbanded, dismantled, unbundled into the various nationalities which the British met before colonialism. After the unraveling, each may align with others to form nations of their choice.
A failure to do this will birth confrontation, because this internal colonialism will not be allowed to continue, under whatever guise.

It has largely been condemned by the indigenous peoples of Nigeria from the middle belt, the Niger Delta and the Igbo heartland.

Whatever is playing out on the Nigeria political space with the emergence of two Fulani presidential candidates and the capture of all the top echelon posts in the army, air force, the police, NIA, DSS, EFCC, INEC etc. are all merely pieces in the chess game programmed to end in total domination of all other ethnic groups in 'Nigeria' by the Fulani.
The charade of Chief Justice Onnoghen’s removal by Buhari is merely another piece of the jigsaw puzzle in place.

While they are selling us the dummy of elections, they are busy preparing for war! This war had already commenced with their sponsorship of BokoHaram, Fulani Herdsmen and imported bandits from the ISWAP (Islamic State of the West African Province).

For Yoruba, the time to leave this skewed federation is NOW.
