Hope the title is catchy enough (lol) ..I do come here every now and then for almost 5 years now to see if I can get that long expected break with just one killer system that will make me money online or offline, but your guess is as good as mine.. for where(in Nigerian accent).

My story
I started my journey in forex with free $5 from marketiva (long time… if you know you know) and from there ventured into the world of forex factory. I learnt a great deal of indicator both common and custom made..Learnt different strategies, to be honest some are very nice but cannot be sustained with time. Then started working with MT4 ea's .I worked on so many customization of ea to trade strategies that are hard to implement with manual trading.

My Discovery
What I discovered was that the monster (forex market) is a big casino owned by the institutions(as we all know) and we the retailers are the players (win some loose all kind of market for the underdogs).They always win because of one reason:
The market has only 2 phases (binary).Trending market and Ranging market. Now if your strategy is based on a ranging market, then you will eventually lose out in a trending market and vice-versa. The point I am trying to make is that the big dog has the power to own both the trending and ranging market!! (Win Win)
I believe a lot of the Nairaland "Forex big dogs" will come for my jugular with "you can make it big if you have enough technical and fundamental skill"...YES you are right, but how many of us have the intelligence, time, money and most importantly emotional stability to become a day trader?

Good News
Let me not bore you with my long forex misery in the past. So one day I thought of a concept (like play ..like play) and went online to do more research on it to see if it is something others have considered, and Lo! ..I got a lot of info on it and different method that has been employed in using it with different Forex pairs.

My Strategy
I can easily come up with a beautiful technical analysis on how to enter the market, my entry and exit point. However, the main question is how can I manage my loss effectively to end up in profit or break even?
what If after a buy of EUR/USD for a profit of 20 pips, the monster move against me down the line, the common system is to stop loss at maybe -20 pips ( on discretion). What if I place another buy order at -20pip, -40pips... and so on up to -150 pips( as you know that the majors have an average of 150 pips movement) and I keep doubling my entry lot size as we go down to the last trade(martingale) which in turn will make me keep changing my take profit closer to the market price. This is in expectation that the market will pull back at least 20 pip, which in turn will result in profit. I will only lose my trade if the market trend up to 150 pips without any retracement.( trust me, it’s not common).

Flaws
Every strategy comes with its own flaws

Scenario 1: Let’s assume everything goes as plan, I will be in profit, but if my trade was quite towards the end of the day and there was no retracement carried over to the next day with x2 of the lots....bomb(loss)

Scenario 2: even if am successful in most of my trades, the one day of loss will result to huge subtraction from my account if compared with the profit made so far. Profit to loss ratio 1: 1000 (exaggerated )

Scenario 3: I have to continuously set this pending orders and monitor the trades in real time to avoid any fCk up...God help me one major news broke and am not there to save the day...Bomb(huge loss)

Ladies and gentlemen, I continued my research on the subject matter and how to make it work for me. It took me great deal of time sha. I eventually came up with the right multiplication figure to increase the lot sizes, the right difference in pips between the loss trades and the right take-profit. I created an EA to do the job for me and tested it.

Time to make money
I have back-tested the strategy using Dukaskopy tick data( premium) for a real time quality test from 2010 to 2018.I don’t have to brag ,but it’s fantastic .I later ventured into forward test with demo and live account early 2018.

Result
The Demo was perfect, then I started the live with a friend’s account ($1000) and this is what I found out
1. I used cent account with 1:500 leverage for margin purpose. I was able to start with 0.1 lot of the base currency. Trading the majors without jpy (EUR/USD, GBP/USD,USD/CHF and AUD/USD) and made between 30-50% monthly for 3 months( though my heart was in my mouth all the while)
2. My friend discussed the case of using it for mutual fund things , then I came up with a more secure risk free system ( ..So I can Sleep), I changed the initial lot to 0.01 lots ( with a little fine tuning) .The system been making between 7-15% monthly and I am still running it till today ( 10 months).

Facts
1. The maximum drawdown ever experienced was 16% (even with all the brexit news)
2. The system makes money almost everyday
3. Maximum number of trade per currency pair is 20
4. The stop loss on the 0.01 lot account was 20% and we have not reached it yet (after a year)
5. The system is on auto run without any input from me on vps

Why sharing?
Guys let us start making money now. I checked forex factory and I like the way the oyinbo people share ideas and am impressed and I will like to reciprocate that here. All the same I may somehow make some cash out of you for the set up and small commission from your profit (lol) as you can see it’s a game of numbers and slow & steady profit.

However, I need only serious people please. If you think what am saying is trash ..you have done it before...you lost your money....just close this thread and move on. I will not respond to any negative energy. I am ready to setup for a specific period for free if you are interested.
