I don't know of gesture support but I suspect it will however it has security feature like that, it Huawei security stuff.

Yes I use one. The phone is amazing, I v not seen any flaws so far. No lagging, it has never gets hot or warm, the pictures are very good for midrange phone, I can rate the picture 8.5 out of 10. You can watch many YouTube review, it woops so many midrange phones in the ass including Samsung A7 and A8.
