When Julen Lopetegui was sacked, everyone didn't know who Solari was with many even saying his appointment might be another mistake.

Lopetegui was sacked just under three months of his Madrid tenure with many loses and poor performances leading the club to make a haste decision.

Three and half months after being named as Lopetegui successor, Solari is having the best spell as a Real Madrid boss.

He has also brought back the faith and belief of the fans. Madrid are now competing in three trophies and has already won the Club World Cup and that has brought about the belief he is going in the right direction.
