Do away with every stumbling block
Text : Matthew 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. 18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
From text above, Jesus is telling us to do away anything that stand as a stumbling block to your service to GOD, to your Love for GOD, to you making it to Heaven at last. What are those actions you take that you know is not acceptable before GOD, do away with them today.
What are those distractions? What are those way of life that is not acceptable before GOD?
Do away anything that stand as stumbling block, distractions to your walk with GOD, life in Christ so that at the end you will make it to Heaven at last.
Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. From text above, the Word of the Lord through Isaiah says that due to your sins, you have been separated from GOD, your prayers are hindered and not answered.
Are you still living in sin?
Those sins are stumbling block to getting GOD's divine blessing and answers to prayer. Do away with every distractions and stumbling blocks today that you may make to eternity with GOD.
Forsake and repent of your sins that your prayers may be answered and the Lord turn not his face from you.
