The Abuja zonal office of Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR reportedly closed down 10 illegal plants selling liquefied petroleum gas, LPG commonly called domestic or cooking gas within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and its environs. The move is to reduce the incident of gas explosion in the state. Leadership reported that at least 10 plants were sealed by the agency in the first week of February adding that Intent Energy located along the Yanyan Abuja Expressway was one of the sealed plant. Na so? If they’re illegal how did they get the labour to begin with? Oil and Gas work is very difficult. To pay the workers means the company makes serious returns. To make serious returns means they sold product. The question is they sold the products to who? |
