Investors have so much confidence in the coming administration.

They have all seen the direction of the wind of REAL CHANGE.

Oga, people have been investing in these bonds since 2017 when they first got launched before anyone knew Atiku was PDP's presidential flag bearer

Seems the International community have confidence in not just a Buhari win but also a continued rise in the fortunes of Nigeria.

Must be the result of an intelligence report we aren't privy to.

Anyway, Sowore for presidency.

And some people are saying that Nigeria economy is not progressing and investors do not have confidence in Nigeria. I always wonder why the stock market is gaining despite election and Nigeria bonds are always oversubscribed even on foreign country stock market, I mean the Euro bond.

Buhari has broken the jinx. During previous elections the stock market always plunges due to uncertainties and lack of confidence but in buharis case its the opposite. The stock market is recording huge gains and its all due to the absolute focus this government has shown.

The market understands that there is now no false monies floating around and no fake promises of monies being released into the system that would trigger investors but there is now real promise and real delivery as promised.

Why wouldn't an investor now have confidence in this government ?

Even on a topic that says otherwise? Is it that you don't read or you have some challenges with comprehension? angry
The truth is that the economy is so bad that Nigerians are unable to invest their money in businesses, so many businesses have closed down. The only option is to invest in bonds, treasury bills, fixed deposits. I am not a PDP nor APC lover, this is the plain truth.
The question we should ask ourselves is what burden does this huge amount of bonds place on FGN?

Did you understand what you read at all? Lazy youth
People are investing in bonds rather than investing in enterprises because businesses are falling aka bad economy.

It is not a good sign..

It shows people rather invest in Treasury bills and earn 10% - 15% which must be paid come rain come sun, than invest in our various industries in different sectors which would create employment and career growth, aswell as reduce poverty directly.

This is another form of loan the govt has constantly been taking.

Investors have lost total hope for the present Govt, they are only going for an option the govt can't control.

Oh my goodness!!!

Very Good development.

We have the confidence in Baba's administration.

The future is so bright and beautiful for the next 4 years and beyond.

Baba is laying a SOLID and STRONG foundation for us all.

God bless our President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and his amiable Vice president Prof Yemi as they take us to the NEXT LEVEL, AKA, a land flowing with milk and honey.

My dear, stop fooling yourself.
Businesses are failing and the remaining ones are being sold to invest in bonds and treasury bills. Which will you prefer ... growing businesses and industries that produce goods, services and provide employment or increasing FGN debts?

Go and look for legitimate business and stop talking nonsense.
Which legitimate business is failing?

The only business that is failing is looting through many means like ghost workers, multiple bank accounts by govt parastatals, etc.
