Popular instagram comedian, Bro. Solomon has called out @Akin_btc_noni and sent out a warning to his followers and Nigerians in general. In a video, he shared on his instagram page, he is quoted as saying that he made a video earlier for the said scammer and endorsed his activities. However, according to him, he can confirm that the owner of the page is a scammer that has scammed a lot of Nigerians of their hard earned money.
He further cautioned Nigerians and asked that they report the page. Akin_btc_noni is a bitcoin trader and was formerly endorsed by instagram comedian, bro. Solomon.
The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has repeatedly warned Nigerians about trading bitcoins as according to the CBN, trading of cryptocurrency is not a recognised business in Nigeria because all over the world, financial sector regulators have rejected its inclusion in the formal financial services industry. The apex bank, therefore warned Nigerians against trading in cryptocurrency including its down-line variants such as bitcoin, which they said carry huge risks that cannot be insured or regulated.
