West Ham United have signed Nigeria forward Victor Obinna on a season-long loan from Inter Milan, the English premier league club said on Friday.

The 23-year-old passed a medical after holding talks at Upton Park and the club's training ground, West Ham said on their website (www.whufc.com).

Obinna, who began his Inter career in 2008, spent last season on loan at Spanish side Malaga. He has won 34 caps for Nigeria, and appeared twice in the World Cup in South Africa as his country were eliminated in the first round.

Obinna is West Ham's sixth acquisition for the new season. They face Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.

How's Benitez racist? He worked with Momo Sissoko(Mali) during his time in Valencia and also brought him to Liverpool. He bought Ryan Babel, David Ngog, Glen Johnson, all blacks, during his time at Liverpool. So how is Benitez racist?

He has to do something about his style of play. He was not favoured under Mourinho and now under Benitez, he still has no luck, despite his goals in the pre-season friendly.

I can't wait to see Nsofor in West Ham colours. This is a good move for him. Maybe he can make it in the English League. Avram Grant has made a smart decision because West Ham needs a player that can put the ball into the net.
