Efcc (The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) said  they have arraigned Abdulhadi Bushra Ahmed (the Managing Director of Ali- Alia Travels and Tours) at the Federal capital Territory (FCT) high court.
he was dragged before Justice O. Adeniyi on Friday 1st of march 2019 on one-count bordering on obtaining by false pretence.it was said that  "Abdulhadi Bushra Ahmed travel on the 4th day of August 2013 within the jurisdiction of this high court of the federal capital Territory and obtained a sum of  N3,240,000 from Ugochukwu Prince Diki  a fake football coach of being a licensed football agent who can produce visas for Europe and Asia, and serves as a football contractor on behalf of the players,  which he knew was false and he committed an offence of Advance Fee Fraud and other Related Offences Act 2006 "The defendant pleaded “not guilty” to the charge.Prosecuting counsel, O.O. Adeola thereafter, prayed the courtroom to repair a date for the graduation of trial and to remand the defendant in Kuje Jail, pending listening to of his bail utility, which was moved by defence counsel, E.O. Aneye.Justice Adeniyi, thereafter, granted the defendant bail within the sum of N5 million with one surety in like sum, who have to be a resident in Abuja, and should present proof of tax cost for three years.Whereas adjourning to April 18, 2019 for “graduation of trial”, the defendant was ordered to be remanded in Kuje Jail pending the fulfilment of the bail phrases.
