A vision is a vivid mental image of what you want your business to be at some point in the future, based on your goals and aspirations. Having a vision will give your business a clear focus, and can stop you heading in the wrong direction. The best way to formalise and communicate the vision you have for your business is to write a vision statement. A vision statement captures, in writing, the essence of where you want to take your business, and can inspire you to reach your goals.

When it comes to business success, vision is very crucial. However, instead of our literal sense of sight, this vision involves our sense of imagination and possibility. Vision in business,is really the ability to visualize successfull outcomes, positive results and the ability to dream of where you want to go with your business.

Don't be afraid to dream. So spend a few minutes everyday visualizing where you plan on going and how you plan on going there. This is not day-dreaming, it's focussed development, scheduling and organization. Plan your day by seeing the optimum outcomes. When you imagine yourself succeeding, you're more likely to succeed.
