2019 Kia Cerato Hatch Review by CompletAutoTalk: 11:32am On Mar 13, 2019
When purchasing a compact car, Kia Cerato may not be the first model that comes to your mind, however the new Kia Cerato is a not too bad an option when compared to the Mazda3, Ford Focus or Toyota Corolla.

The fourth-generation model of Kia Cerato was revealed in 2018 at the Detroit Auto Show, in the U.S. It is renamed ‘the Forte’ and is available in saloon style.

It is fueled by a 152 PS (150 hp/112 kW) and 192 Nm (142 lb-ft) of torque 2.0-liter inline-four. The Sport+ and Sport are exclusively offered with a six-speed programmed gearbox, though the entry-level S accompanies a 6-speed manual and the 7-speed DCT is available only in GT.

Aside from the 2.0-liter engine, customers can likewise have the new Cerato Hatch with a 1.6-liter turbo that is evaluated at 204 PS (201 hp/150 kW) and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque.

According to the reviewer, there’s really nothing much to complain about, neither is there anything to praise when driving. The general experience would best be depicted as ‘okay’. It goes over bumps pretty easily and the light directing makes moving it into tight spaces very easy.

As sporty as the outside may look, the lodge could not hope to compare to it. The Stinger-inspired styling is a pleasant touch, however, the most imperative thing is that it packs the necessary gear, from the standard Automatic Emergency Braking to the infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
