Wonder why there's still crowd in the area. This will hamper operations and make rescue operations very difficult for the professionals no matter the equipment the have. Hope the government will do something about cutting corners that is rampant in Nigeria. Hope people in authority should learn that most of the disasters in Nigeria is man made and not devil made. Very religious country but very close to the devil too. Don't see the use of religion in Nigeria. So much evil.

My advice to LASG. The whole of Lagos Island should be combed for unfit building and a 48-hour ultimatum should be issued to occupants to quit. After that, demolition equipment should be unleashed in that area to pull down any structure that is suspected to be faulty whether marked or unmarked. This may sound wicked but that is how it should be, people don't comply until govt use iron hand.

We at Autojosh commiserate with the families of the pupils and staff affected in the school building collapse.

There are rescue teams and several volunteers at the collapse site trying as much as they can to save as many lives as possible. Some have been pronounced dead while others are still trapped within.

Lasema Response Unit went to the scene with “We Echo devices” which they claimed can scan for any alive persons under the rubble.

Let’s hope the device help hasten the rescue process.

I pray its work, cos there is still am woman (teacher) calling out that she is still trap with 20pupils inside the rubbles and they are already getting weak. May Almighty God keep them alive it they are rescue.
