The eighth and the concluding part of the TV series Game of Thrones is slated to premiere on the 14th of April 2019. The first series of the movie officially started on the 23rd of October 2017, and the seventh season was concluded in July 2018.

In the previous seasons, the seventh season consists of seven episodes while the first six seasons consist of ten episodes each. The season 8 of Game of Thrones will have only six episodes.

Miguel Sapochnik and David Nutter were announced in September 2017 as the directors of the first five episodes of the season 8. Miguel directed “Battle of the Bastards” on season 6 while Nutter directed “Mother’s Mercy” on season 2. David Benioff and Weiss will both direct the last episode of the season 8. Ramin Djawadi will return as the music composer for the season 8.
