@igbanbajo and others, i drive exactly your type of camry with same engine capacity that i will not sale for 1million and i mean every bit of it cos i have been offered that price without thinking before i rejected it. Reasons: Alloy : 50k Brand new tyres: Pirelli 48k New shocks( front and rear): 34k Auto base + oven bake: 60k passenger dvd: 17k super clean interior milleage: 48,000+ at arrival, now on 89k + without ever touching the engine xept for servicing every 3k miles without miss Port cleared cos it was bought while still within the legal import age to mention but few.(no custom qualms) You can get a tokunboh for 800k Cotonou cleared  ,Over 150k to 200 plus mileage Weak shocks at arrival Some do come without alloy wheels and bad tyres Fired to the brink on their way to Nigeria to mention but few. Even the guy who made the statement wouldn’t buy a toks for 800k, spend close to 200k to love-vendor the ride and thereafter sale it for 800k cos its registered. Go inspect a car to know what u re pricing as some Nigerian used well maintained are better in performance and beauty than toks, MINE IS A VIVID EXAMPLE. Nice ride, wish you happy sales. |

To illustrate my point, I've provided hereunder the link to a used car advertised in San Francisco for US$8,488. http://www.everycarlisted.com/ca/walnut-creek/toyota/camry/vin-4t1bg22k7yu647302 At a minimum, another US$1,500 will be spent on shipping and documentation (ignoring sales commission). This comes to about N1.5m. Another N250k will be required to clear it in Nigeria, hence, the N1.8m I used in my example above. And in spite of this cost, my car has more options than this tokunboh. True, if you go to a car dealership, you'll get a basic tiny light from N1.05m and an xle from N1.3m (depending on the options the car has). Again, remember that this car was well used. This expains why I took a great care to list many of the options it has to show that it's a top of the range car. Please feel free to make your offer. |
