Adebayo Alonge becomes first African to win DeepTech Global Challenge by dachilino: 1:34pm On Mar 20, 2019
A Nigerian victim of fake drugs, Adebayo Alonge, has become the first African to win the DeepTech Global Challenge with his invention. Abebayo Alonge, a  CoFounder of a multinational deepTech startup (operating in 4 continents) that is using 4 deepTech technologies AI-IoT-Blockchain-AI Conductors for drug quality authentication and tracking, became the first African to win the DeepTech Global Challenge with his handheld nanoscanners which can ensure drug quality in real time. He went home with €100K. 


The inventor received most of his science education in Nigeria. His business education was at Yale, but his science education was from King’s College Lagos. He obtained in degree in Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan. He was  selected to represent Africa at the 2019 conference, having gone through a rigorous selection process competing against 4,500 deepTech startups from across the world.

Unfortunately because he is not igbo this won't get the tribalistic igbo's attention which would later cause this post become a battleground for tribalistic comments.
