Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Reveals What Stopped Sureties From Producing IPOB Leader by nairalaila: 5:40pm On Mar 30, 2019
Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer, Barr Aloy Ejimakor at a press conference today revealed what stopped sureties of the IPOB leader from producing him in court. Barr Aloy Ejimakor who denied that sureties to the leader of separatist group applied to the Justice Binta Nyako-led Federal High Court Abuja to withdraw their suretyship, blamed their inability to produce Kanu on the invasion of his (Kanu’s) house by military personnel. 

Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer who claimed that the sureties have been fighting to stay on as he revealed what stopped them from the IPOB Leader in court, said at the press conference in Awka; 

“On the matter of revocation of Kanu’s bail and the consequent Order of bench warrant, I, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, Counsel to one of the sureties and a Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, hereby issue the following this statement. The reports in the media quoting Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako as stating (when revoking Nnamdi Kanu’s bail on March 28, 2019) that the ‘three sureties who bailed Kanu had applied to the court to withdraw their suretyship’ is inaccurate.

“I should know because I represent one of the sureties and we never made such application or anything close to it. That argument is still pending a hearing in a suretyship proceedings that was adjourned sine die at the time of the entry of the Order of bail revocation and the ensuing bench warrant.

“For the foregoing reasons, we are currently studying the record of proceedings of the said March 28 hearing to see whether it will be necessary for the sureties to file fresh processes to protect the integrity of their suretyship relationship with Nnamdi Kanu, which is still valid and subsisting.”

I am beginning to reconsider Nnamdi....

I began to dislike him when he became Messianic and a ranter...and caring more about his dog than the young bloods slain on his behalf.

But, i am giving him another chance. At least we both have a common enemy....Buhari

Sorry to say only misfits and failures believe in the illusion called biafra. Just imagine this cockroach saying he has an issue with the commander in chief?

I don't care what you say, Kanu reduced PDP's SE votes in the Presidential elections. Very selfish fellow who thinks only about himself and how to cut side deals.

Mention a single thing Kanu has said or done in memory of those who died in Ipob protests.

He ran away and his family members were lying that he was dead only for him to ressurect in Isreal and start crying about his dead dog. Not a word about those who died for his folly.

If he comes back, na SE Pdp go teach am sense.

He will never set foot in Nigeria until he becomes home sick and starts begging for Kuje prison,he who commits a crime and runs away,lives to visit prison another day.

Give him another 10 years he will start begging the Federal Government,ojukwu ran away in 1970 and did not return to Nigeria until. 1983 after enough pleading to Sheu Shagari.
