A former Nigerian youth international, Nduka Anyanwu has died at the age of 30, Goal.com reports on Tuesday. Goal.com says the FSV Oggersheim player collapsed on the pitch during his side‘s Bezirkliga clash with Queichhambach, and medical treatment on the pitch came too late to save his life. It is not yet confirmed what caused Anyanwu‘s death, but reports suggest that the former Dynamo Dresden defender was struck by a heart attack. The deceased started his professional career at Eintracht Frankfurt in 1997 and had plied his trade in Germany ever since. He also wore the jerseys of Chemnitzer, Darmstadt and Oggersheim. |
