I travelled to Abuja last Saturday and decided to stop over at a bar, waiting for my friend to come and take me to his place. As I was waiting for the bottle of beer I ordered, I saw a police van stopped in front of the bar. As four policemen stepped out, I noticed everybody in the bar have disappeared, except me and one other gentleman, who I latter found out to be a soldier. I was a bit nervous, but when I saw the man smiled, I also smiled, while I took the beer from the barman and started drinking. They asked the barman some questions and left. They waved at us and left.

My question is: Can every innocent person in Nigeria trust the Police and remain calm whenever they see them?
