Finding the Perfect University for you in Nigeria can be a daunting task, So many criteria to Consider, Distance from home, Quality of Education, Rate of Striking, Hostel facilities, Environmental conditions and so much more. Whether you prefer one university to another is usually a matter of personal preference.

Today Katakata News will be providing you with a list of the Top Universities in Nigeria based on certain General Criteria i will be listing below.

5. Ahmadu Bello University Zaria

Ahmadu Bello University also known as ABU is located in the Zaria Province of Kaduna state in the north central area of Nigeria. The University was founded on the 4th of October in 1962. It was originally known as the University of Nigeria. The University operates two Campus Locations. The Main is called Samaru Campus and the other is called Kongo Campus. The University was named after the First Premier of Northen Nigeria Sir Ahmadu Bello.

ABU Zaria offers both Graduate and Undergraduate programs in these study areas,

⦁ Business and Social Sciences
⦁ Language and Culture
⦁ Medicine and health
⦁ Science and Technology
⦁ Arts and Humanities.

The Offer Diploma Studies in all of the above programs except Engineering.

Tuition and Capacity

The yearly tuition rates for Undergraduate students range for #25,500 to #50,000 Naira while tuition for Postgraduate students are around #200,000 – 250,000 Naira. Do note that these fees do not contain other additional payments required by the university.
The University has about 25,000 students enrolled at any given time with over 2000 academic staff.

Abu Covers an Area of 7000 Hectares with 12 Academic facilities, a Postgraduate school, and 82 Academic Departments.
