What about thinking deeply instead of looking for Catholic to spite.... Oya let's think this way..... they wanted to depict that the Angel is enjoying and looking fresh where ever he might have come from (HEAVEN). while The Satan is suffering, burnt probably due to furnace of fire (Hell) he is also coming.....
